So you want to know more about us? Well let me let you into a little secret... it's just me, and I'm a shopaholic.

Whether it is shoes, handbags, jewellery, scarves or something for the house, you name it, I love to buy it. Nothing beats that feeling when you put on a new item of clothing, mix up your outfit with a new accessory, or step into a pair of shoes for the first time. It’s an even bigger thrill when you’ve bought a bargain.

It is from this passion that Shopafrolics was born. Not one to sit still for long, I wanted to channel my skills (I work in marketing by day) and passion into something that I could build for myself.  Instead of searching out those bargains on items for me, I now spend my time sourcing fabulous fashion and home gift ideas at the best prices so that you can be sure you’re getting a great deal. In 2021, I also launched Mini Shopafrolics - with the same ethos and the same fabulous fashion and gorgeous gifts but this time for the little ones in your world.

I'm really proud to have been presented with two awards from leading business people who
inspire me. In 2016, I won a WOW award from Jacqueline Gold CBE, and founder of Ann Summers, which she presents as way of support and recognition for female entrepreneurs. More recently I was hand picked by Theo Paphitis to receive his #SBS award. For me this was a great honour, and I even got to meet Theo who presented me with a certificate to confirm my award. He was absolutely lovely, a warm genuine man who told me that my business had a "brilliant name".  Who can argue with that?!

 

And the awards keep on coming. In April 2019 I was Highly Commended in the category of Digital Business of the Year at the first Welsh Women's Awards. It was such an honour to be recognised in this way and I feel privileged to have been in the company of so many inspiration female entrepreneurs and business women in Wales.
