Hello sunshine - hasn't it been a wonderful few weeks? I'll even forgive the rain this weekend. I for one have enjoyed seeing the sun out to play and it's put me in a super mood. We headed over to America on our summer holiday, and came back to weather that was as beautiful as stateside (although thankfully not quite as a hot!). Do you know your brand?

This week in my day job I got talking to someone outside of the marketing team, and it became apparent that they simply didn't really know what a brand was. They thought it was our logo, the mark that we use on everything from posters to our website. I suppose I take for granted my understanding of what a brand is but it got me thinking - why should they know any different? Cue another (long!) marketing tips blog...

Winning #SBS and meeting Theo Paphitis

So, what a crazy few weeks it has been. Rewind to 23 Jan and after a manic day in the day job, I headed to the cinema to watch La La Land with some colleagues. Now I'll admit, half way through the film I did notice my phone was vibrating a lot, which was weird but I quickly dismissed and thought nothing more of it. So much so, that even after I left the film, I didn't check it. It was 9.30pm before I did... and I was in for a shock. I'd only been chosen by Theo Paphitis as a #SBS winner.
